Temporary timetable for Honister Rambler
« on: 08:57:34, 18/09/18 »
The Honister Rambler isn't going up to Whinlatter because the road is closed between Lorton and Braithwaite for approx. 12 weeks. I'm still trying to get my head around the timetable, it is showing slightly differently on Stagecoach and Cumbria County Council websites. I was reading it last night so I might have just been tired!

Had a quick look, seems ok to me. I think maybe the confusion could be that the Stagecoach timetable combines the 77 and 77A but the timetable that I found on the Cumbria council website has separate timetables for the 77 and the 77A services.

Should have gone to Specsavers  ;)

The County Council seem to have added a couple more 77 journeys. They have also missed Keswick off the finish of the 77A route and missed Keswick off at the start of the 77 route along with the timings. On the County Council info at first glance it looks like the buses would be starting and finishing at Low Lorton when they are in fact ending/starting in Keswick as usual. Unless the Stagecoach timetable is wrong! The 77 buses are at 10.30, 12.30, 14.30, 16.30 on the Stagecoach timetable. I wonder who is running the 9.30 and 11.30 77's that are on the County Council timetable?

:) No, I was just about to send them an email, I'd meant to yesterday and forgot  :-[

I checked the timetable before I sent the email and saw it had been corrected already.

Can I just say... Cumbria County Council do an excellent job at keeping passengers up to date with timetable changes on their website, they put the information on their website far in advance of the bus companies, so I didn't mean to come across as too critical  O0
