Selfie Walk Pictures
« on: 19:32:18, 09/12/13 »
This is me walking towards the village of Kinver in Staffordshire on a sunny but cold day in January of this year (2013). I had the camera on a tripod and set the timer. Has anyone else taken photographs of themselves while out walking and are you willing to share them with us all?

I try to grab someone to take my pic if possible when out walking alone but have been known to set the camera on timer .... like for this one of me looking across Derwent Water towards Blencathra in the Lakes in June this year:

I think I do it more for proof that "I was there" than anything else  ;D

Wish the timer had longer than a 10 second option though.

N.b. - The true 'Selfie' is not taken on a timer, but rather at arms length, with the camera facing back at the subject.

I know because my daughter's FB feed contains nothing but.  It helps if you are wearing far too much eye make-up and are trying to look doe-eyed whilst pouting a bit.
(Angry Climber might qualify, there, but it is hard to see through the goggles).

Edit - where's 'Scarface' when he's needed?!- he's the master!

They look like one pair of very comfortable and well-worn in walking boots.  O0

That's what I understood a selfie to be hence the one with the goggles.  The other pic just mimicked the others pics on show.

I'll partake in the odd selfie but prefer a handy trig point, flattish rock or a gate post to rest the camera on, oh and a good self timer of at least 10 seconds helps  ;)
