Actually it was a cunning plan to throw off the killer Lamas if they decided to stalk us ::)

I am not even going to attempt to better the literary prose of Cogstar’s Trip Report, so here’s my take on our Roaches & Lud’s Church adventure in pictures, taken with my new Samsung 10.2 pixel digital, first time I’d used it, with  a few comments thrown in:

This was the original route I suggested, fairly simple and straightforward.

This was the ‘mutated’ route once Radder had got his hands on it! Lol. And people wondered why I got confused and didn’t know where the hell I was going! Hehe

Ramshaw Rocks

So…erm…which way are we supposed to go now?

A Jacuzzi at Ramshaw Rocks. Don’t think it was working though.

Where we ate lunch. Very scenic.

Looking back on the entrance to Lud’s church

Inside Lud’s church. I think we missed the service and the choir were a  bit quiet to say the least!

Just shooting the breeze

Sir Jim and that other bloke with no hair! Don’t know why he’s carrying a map!

The Roaches Gang, minus the photographer

Sir Jim of Roach End

Think this pic gives a good perspective of The Roaches compared to us little people

The mysterious and eerie Doxey Pool

Main map man Captain Radder and his faithful sidekick, Granty Grant. Bodie & Doyle have nothing on these two!

King Kong Rock at the bottom of The Roaches. P.S. it’s not really called that but I’ve just named it because it looks like a Big Gorilla to me!

Another great day out with some great company, new and old, was had.

Hope you enjoyed
