Tempted to walk to the nearest highest hill, then I remembered I was told the farmer had ploughed over the path! Never mind there's always to walk nearby. My golfing days were ended by injury, at least I achieved a hole in one!
My golfing days were ended by trying golf. It definitely is a waste of a walk.

It was mud all day but well worth it . I wonder how much extra energy is used , plodding through sticky mud . This section was a delight & easy .

A night under silnylon. Doesn't have the same ring to it.

I`m not sure about best pic of the day..this was my only pic of the day , taken on my phone from a bridge at a place called Hopwood . I avoided the canal towpaths today as they were too busy for my liking . I still got a very enjoyable , fast 7 mile walk in though . :)

Pictures of a walk from home though Kingmoor South Nature Reserve, then into Kingmoor North, back into Kingmoor South and then into Kingmoor Sidings , back into Kingmoor South and home. All in Carlisle and in total 12Km from door to door. Should have gone the day before when the trees were heavy with snow and the pics would have been better.

Mermaids purses

Just for interest. A shark species (dogfish?) developing within the mermaids purse. Taken in Plymouth Aquarium
So many paths yet to walk, so little time left
