Not that I have listened to it all yet but concerned that "if the tiers stay the same it is unlikely that it will go ahead" although he has thoughts of "something else" but not happy to share at the moment. I need to know as I have to have a lot of sleep in the previous week or so that I can stay up and dot watch when the runners are more likely to have issues!
From what I understand from the PM's announcement a few weeks back, the Tiers are expected to stay the same over Christmas at the minimum and likely to be pushed out to March when the vaccination programme should have made a significant dent in things.
16th December seems like it'd be absolutely an economic decision more than anything else, but even if they do it'd be highly unlikely to see them drop below Tier 2.
Feel very sorry for the competitors who have been training for this, at significant cost, and are having to wait until the last minute to know if they'll be racing or not.
