Saturday's walk saw me take in three peaks in the eastern Mournes, Slievenaglogh, Corragh and Commedagh. All three peaks are connected by the Mourne wall and form a natural linear walk. Starting from Meelmore Lodge, I picked up the green lane in the direction of Slievenaglogh, the first peak of the day. After climbing a stile, views opened up of the Binnian/Beg ridge. Turning left I made the straightforward ascent of Slieve Corragh. Ben Crom reservoir takes pride of place. Following the course of the Mourne wall, I climbed Commedagh, the final summit of the day. Commedagh is the second highest mountain in the Mournes. I made the steep descent of its western flank to the brandypad. I followed the brandypad to the Hares Gap before making my way back to Meelmore Lodge. Total distance was nearly 12km.
