Wildlife.........
« on: 18:39:57, 05/08/18 »
Had a great day yesterday walking at Strathdearn on the upper river Findhorn.  Saw a red squirrel sitting in a hedge a couple of meters away from me quite unafraid.

Two separate sightings of golden eagles riding the thermals and a herd of around thirty red deer kept me entertained whilst I had dinner.

Red grouse and an arctic hare made an appearance on the way back to the car park and watching two stoats fighting on the road for a few minutes was a first, good job they don’t get any bigger !!

Makes a change from sheep and coo’s anyway  O0

Andy.

We're still going, one more time to Strathault,
the clown and the wolfman.

If they were any bigger they'd be Wolverines, you wouldn't want to pat one of those.  :o

Walked in the hills for around six hours, did not see another human being until I reached the car park at the end of the walk.......bliss.  O0

Sounds great Andy O0   One of those days when you're in the right places(s) at exactly the right time! 8)
