If anybodys into trains, went to York yesterday, first 5 pics are city, then railway museum.

I was in York yesterday morning .... we may have walked passed each other without realising.
I'm not into trains as such but I do marvel at the engineering brilliance of the old engines.
PS - I like that GWR No.4:- great idea to build cannons into the front of it

Great pictures, not been there for a long time.
I also have fond memories of the previous building which was just a dirty old engine shed crammed with trains.

Voluntary donation of £5. Went past a homeless man begging down the road, decided if I had the front to walk in n ignore the donation, would give my fiver to the bloke. Did and so I did.
£2.45 for a coffee in the cafe though.
