I think that they are cornflowers but I know nothing about plants.

Nice pics, my sister used to live in Thorner. I got some shots of bluebells this weekend too.

Looks a nice, relaxing walk pleb.

I think the blue flower is a Wood Forget Me Not  :-\

Very good photos  O0
Part of my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze expedition went through Thorner.

In later years I used to frequent the 'Beehive' - but it's a rather trendy joint these days.
Thorner holds many happy memories for me. It always seems sunny.

Really nice pics pleb  O0

Nice to see old pumpkin heed back out. You also need to be careful if you have custard creams when he is about. He will scoff the whole packet  :D

I think it could be a young Hemlock plant pleb....or perhaps Cow Parsley. Not 100% sure coz a lot of umbellifers look alike when they first start growing. It would take closer inspection of the stem to get a more conclusive ID.

You need to get down and dirty and take some close ups! :D   Leaves, stems, flowers if poss! ;)

It's Hemlock, deffo, see it quite a bit near my local canal, just thought would set a bit of a poser. Not a great pic, tbh, sunlight contrast doesn't help.

The extent of my knowledge of such things is attributable to words within "Coffee Homeground" ......... as they say in the US, go figure (I think)  ???
