The North Face Terra Mid GTX
« on: 21:04:18, 10/09/17 »
Just wondering if anybody else has experienced The North Face Terra Mid GTX boot? My experience is that they were a total waste of time and money, but it would be useful to know if other people have had the problems I've had. I was assured by the shop assistant they would be waterproof, and for occasional puddles they are. After a few hours of wet grassland though, I may as well be wearing slippers.

Second problem is the stitching has failed. After 9 months and just 50-60 miles (I'm not lazy, I have four pairs of boots) this would be unacceptable on a £40 pair of boots, but on a £100 pair it's outrageous.

Store and TNF have been emailed but it would be useful to know if TNF products really are as rubbish as they seem to me, or is this a one-off?

One of the reasons why I went back to all leather boots. I haven't regretted it!
