Combestone Tor
« on: 13:47:03, 28/04/11 »
Some photos from a short walk from Combestone Tor on Dartmoor. We were looking for a stone row that was marked on the map as my wife is very intersted in ancient ruins (insert your own joke at my expense here). When we found it the stones were only about 1foot cubes so not quite as impressive as we had hoped.

Hi Ridge

I'm sure you will already know this but just in case ....

You will find some of the most impressive stone rows kistvaens and stone circles over around the Merrivale area

Though the stone rows over at Combestone are unimpressive hopefully you found the rock basins on the top of the tor :)
