TR - Moel Hebog

An Easter Sunday outing across Moel Hebog - tarnished somewhat by a poorly timed migraine but a nice mountain all the same

Great TR and a fab route - and looks like you made several right decisions - avoid Snowdon and walk through the migraine.

Thanks for posting your report, I haven't walked those hills for twelve years, so it brought back some good memories.
In one of the photos on your blog, number 29 unless I lost count, captioned Moel Hebog, it looks like some sort of a bridge has been laid over the pool that is  unavoidable on the way to Moel yr Ogof after the path through the chasm? I have got wet feet there a few times in the past!

Great stuff, we did exactly the same route ourselves the summer before last  O0

Thanks for the report but especially the photos, it brought back very good memories.  I used to stay at the campsite at Beddgelert a few times some 55/60 years ago with my parents, we walked up Moel Hebog a few times as well as Snowdon.

Yes indeed, there is a wooden footbridge there - can't say I remember crossing it but, looking at the photo, I'm glad it was there!
