Regarding nubuck. I had nubuck meindl boots. As soon as you wax them they do lose the nubuck look...but who cares? Is this a fashion show?
They repelled water brilliantly when regularly waxed. I think nubuck is just a selling point, they look nicer on the shelf. Nubuck or full grain? Don't care either way.


I would say renegades are available for quite cheap if u look around(decathlon £130) so as long as u didn't pay over the odds, I think they're as good as you'll get without going up to the £160 - 200 mark(heavier, thicker leather, one piece uppers, memory foam, probs less comfy etc)
And you got a measure n fit out of it so theyre clearly right for your feet.
