Planning on doing one of them soon with my Dad.  First I will need to know where they sell the walking book in the area.  Secondly which one under 5 miles is best to choose.  I can't put a link for the website that shows you them all but I'll write the short ones down underneath.

5. Fairholmes Shot Walks (3 Miles Maximum)
7. Whinstone Lee Tor (4 1/2 Miles)
8. Heatherdene & Win Hill (4 1/2 Miles Maximum)
11. The Nab (3 Miles)
14. Rushup Edge (5 Miles)
15. Castleton & The Caverns (4 Miles)
17. Hollins Cross, Back Tor & Lose Hill (4 1/2 Miles)
18. Dale Dike Reservoir (3 1/2 Miles)
19. Stanage Edge (5 Miles)
20. Burbage Rocks (3 1/2 Miles)

Yes....and pretty close to Stanedge Edge...so once having found area possible to visit area a couple of times to do both.

I don't know what route book suggests for Stanedge Walk but at 5 miles it's possible to start at centre of Hathersage, get up to edge on one route, walk a bit of the edge then get back to Hathersage using different paths.

If so...that would be an attractive proposition...couple of good cafes at Hathersage, pleasant village.
