TR - Swallow Falls & Llyn Sarnau
« on: 20:51:17, 24/03/19 »
Following on form our trip along the Carneddau, we abandoned any further mountain walks given an increasingly poor forecast. Instead, I happened across this route online which turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable outing

Another excellent TR Dave  O0  So many times now we have been to or through Betws y Coed and not thought to do that walk even, though I knew of it. I live near to Waterfall country in South Wales so maybe I was thinking what’s another waterfall, but I can see it was much more than that, thanks for posting.
Touching from a distance, further all the time.

Enjoyed your blog, Dave.

The Gwydir Forest used to be my regular stomping (and mountain biking) ground when I lived in Llanrwst and Trefriw - a lovely corner. Particularly interested in the old lead mines.
