Hello and welcome from me in Co Durham 
 
I did my first Lakeland walk on Saturday (Loughrigg Fell) and can't wait to return to do some more Lakeland walking - I wish I lived as close as you do lol

I have to say that having spent a couple of hours mooching around it, I like this forum. The people on it seem to be quite normal, unlike the total lunatics that feature elsehwhere.

Hi Eric you live where I love to be  This time of year I try to get up to the Lakes every Friday from Leeds. Can never get enough of it...  Im no sprinter up the fells either 

Fridays is my delivery day. I drive around the lakes delivering books and other stuff, and get very envious of the fell walkers trekking about. I see you are off to Langdale this Friday. I may be passing through sometime, as New Dungeon is on my list. Enjoy your walk, the weather is set fair.
