Glad to see you back Graeme; I was on the verge of cancelling my account because I missed you so much and the forum wasn't the same without you so I'm glad to see common sense has prevailed ;) .

And yes, kayaking and a walk meet sounds awesome, so tell Ruth to bring it on O0 .

I will almost certainly be elsewhere for next years Scotland meet if it's in September but may be tootling on up to Scotland sometime after that so will let you know and if we don't manage a walk we can surely manage a pub ;D .

Welcome back (and behave yourself :police: )

I have missed you too. The break was good so it's been worthwhile. Ironise I will behave. We did miss you in Scotland. I recon you getting out of a top bunk would have been as good as snakehips. Hopefully you will be at the Welsh hostel and the lakes meet. Maybe now we have a Brecon meet as well. Although Hereford may be the easiest for accomodation. So it's not quite Wales lol.

Ruth had mentioned a bit of a desire to do some open canoe days and you can easily rent them in Ross on Wye. we may get the chance t make a weekend of it.

I can hear Ruth thinking about a meet already. walking and canoe weekend around the Wye.  ;D
Welcome back mate (man hug)

If you guys need any tips for the canoe trip give me a shout.
I arranged a three day camping trip on the River Wye about five years ago, starting in Glasbury and finishing in Hereford. First night on a camp site with a pub, second night in an apple orchard with your own fire, was a fantastic long weekend 👍
Walking is the world’s oldest exercise and today’s modern medicine.
