Hi Everyone
« on: 16:39:03, 07/01/18 »
I'm Justin and have always enjoyed walking.

I was born and grew up in Hampshire and now live in Mid Wales.

Wish to get into wild-camping to open up more options for walks.

Thank you all for the friendly welcome.  :)

I've been reading a few threads and there is plenty of good advice here.

Hi and welcome from Shropshire.

Where in mid Wales there are a couple of bothies that might give you a more gentle intro to wild camping.

Hi and thanks barewirewalker.

I live near Lampeter in Ceredigion, and yes a few bothies nearby. I heard they get busy outside of winter though so advice was to bring a tent in-case the one you choose is full, not sure though. I'm saving for a tent, so hopefully I can get started when the warmer weather returns.
