While recuperating from surgery I have started updating my blog, and last September I returned to the Coniston area for a fantastic day in all weathers. tested some kit, met some nice lads and paid my respects at a memorial.

A really nice TR John, some superb pics too. It just goes to show if you trust the weatherman... occasionally he comes up trumps!!!
I may have a go at a similar walk myself this weekend..... depending on the forecast

Love that report - I did this walk in reverse last year, with Wetherlam as the starting point, and my diary reads "a new favourite walk".
