CELEBRATION WALKS
« on: 16:04:11, 06/11/06 »
Hi ... I'm researching a new series of the BBC Radio 4 programme "Ramblings".  We're looking for people who've done a walk to celebrate something ... doesn't matter what!  Please get in touch asapp ...  Thanks

I did the Dalesway to "celebrate" being able to walk at all following a serious accident on my bicycle. Someone I used to do Ranger duty with climbed to the top of Parlick in he dark to celebrate the new millenium. They said it was great enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the fireworks all over the Fylde at midnight. They told me about this afterwards which made me think why didn't I do that?
Will this wind be so mighty as to lay low the mountains of the Earth?
