Tremendous  O0

Squeaky loved the beach, the joy on her face when she was racing around was priceless  :)

Thanks, another fine production.
My son lives further down the coast and he can let his dog run on the sands from the bottom of his back garden.

I can't wait to get back home afain.

Brilliant to see Squeakys confidence grow, some brilliant sandy beaches in North East England.

Just to the left of where your shots start found rock pools, left behind when the tide went out, full of tadpoles!

Are you sure they were tadpoles?  If they were then the saltwater never reached those pools, they just dont last long in seawater,. In fact the adult frog cannot cope with seawater at all, so probably a pool above the high water mark, possibly, or the young of the little flatties that thrive in that area??

Found some photos.... they were in sea water pools not too far from famous white deer....

Jimbob interested to know what you think these are ....

Also recall surprisingly finding either toads or frogs with tadpoles in tidal stream further south on beach at Crimdon Dene a few years ago.

Dodgy legs  they certainly look like tadpoles. So it sort of reinforces my thoughts that those pools must be above the high water line.

I have since read up on frogs and salt water, seemingly frogs can't survive for very long in saltwater, because surprising to me, they dehydrate rapidly.

But the photo can't be denied they are defo tadpoles.

I used to have jamjars full of them, and sticklebacks from a quarry pond not too far away from that place. Different time, I now feel very guilty about that and I was very young at the time.
