Wye Valley Walk
« on: 13:44:41, 26/08/08 »
Plan - Walk the Wye Valley Way from Chepstow to Plynlimon in 7 days starting 3rd October.

Question - Can I do this without taking a sleeping bag. I'm using a hooped bivvy bag - I have a duvet jacket which takes up less space than a s/b, but will I get cold.

Question - the route has been extended from Rhayader to Plynlimon since I bought my guide book (about 10 years ago). Does anyone know where I can get route details for the last 18 miles.

Question - does anyone want to accompany me ? Wild camping all the way. I'm taking my dog. Can arrange transport back from Plynlimon to Port Talbot where you can get a coach or train back to civilisation.

Courage doesn't always roar like a lion. Sometimes courage is a small voice at the end of a long hard day saying "I'll try again tomorrow".
