A walker was rescued from a Lakeland fell after injuring her ankle.
The group the 42-year-old woman was with then became benighted as darkness fell.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team was alerted about 8.10pm while it was taking part in a training exercise.
The walking party reported their position as somewhere near the top of Scales Fell on Blencathra, but were unsure of their exact location.
