Beautiful coastal scenery there Dave - looks a wonderful walk. Interesting to see that the national parks are being kept open. Here there seems to be no consensus regarding well-being - central government has said it's ok to go back, but local opinion and MRTs are asking people to stay away.
Out of interest - I have just pinched part of one of your routes in the lakes - round Branstree/Selside and Hobgrumble Gill - but from Wet Sleddale - your blog is a great source so thanks for keeping it O0

That's definitely a route I'd be doing to keep away from the crowds!
The national parks service have been keeping the parks open here for excercise but closing areas known to attract crowds - specific beaches or viewpoints for instance. The parks here are also very sparsely populated, if at all, so no problem with locals moaning about visitors. Probably also attributed to the low number of infections floating around. People aren't scared here

More of a blanket "Stay at home" one day and then "Head for the beach" the next here - which is causing one or two problems!
Enjoyed your route by the way, though I reversed it so that I climbed Selside Pike via Hobgrumble Gill - which I regretted when I got about half way up - my it's steep.
