I went from Stonethwaite up to Angle Tarn and stayed in Angle Tarn Gill for the night.

So do I! Great photos, I'll use the Snake Pass one as my home page, hope that's OK.

No problem, but it’s Stake not Snake although I can understand why you would call it that as the path winds up like a snake.

Thanks Richard.
The weather was almost perfect, a bit too hot maybe, but I was so lucky.
I love Angle Tarn as well but decided to move down into the Gill so that I could have a better view as Angle Tarn itself, although lovely, doesn’t allow you to look into the distance.

Thanks Beefy,
The first time out in it, loved it.
Very light at 1.70Kg poles and pegs included, dead easy to put up and loads of room for one but I think two would struggle.
There’s enough room to get my rucksack inside with still plenty of space left over.
Cheers

Thanks, I was lucky with the weather and it was worth carrying the extra weight of my Nikon DSLR.

Thanks Richard, I work on the theory that if I take enough photos I’m bound to get one or two decent one’s!

I work on the same principle - 3,800+ on my recent holiday
