Having a great time

Weds caught bus from Dalston to Carlisle then walked back on wooded side of river wet and muddy but beautiful wild flowers about 6miles
Thursday walked from Dalston to Hesketh Newmarket about 10miles. Quite chilly rain on and off finished off looking round the mill craft centre at Caldbeck. Bell bridge beautifully rebuilt and reopened Dec 2018.

Friday walked from Hesketh Newmarket to Skidaw house YHA an old hunting lodge in the middle of nowhere. About 9miles I bagged a Wainwright, High Pike selfie on the summit. Carrock Mine SSSI. Bitterley cold sunny morning wet afternoon. Sheltered in the Lingy Hut for lunch.
Saturday straight up to the summit of Skidaw via Sail How from the back of the YHA then over Little Man and Lattrig to Keswick. 9miles. The clouds cleared from the summit to reveal a jaw dropping view 360 degrees.
