I plotted the route at home on OS Maps using the National Parks Pathways layer and the path ended at that point on the screen so it wouldn't allow me to plot a route right to the trig. From that end point I just found my own way to the top on the day before we retraced our steps and headed back down to Horton. I suppose I could've changed layers and added a couple of waypoints but at the time the map was just for my own use so I didn't bother.
