The Algarve, Portugal
« on: 20:27:35, 18/11/09 »
As posted elsewhere, we've just spent a week there, doing a fair bit of walking everyday, sometimes on the cliffs close to our apartment, sometimes in the towns and villages nearby. Great walking weather and very few people. Perfect.

Were somewhat perplexed by this sign though - is he tripping her up, or is it the other way round?

This was a walk from our resort (Rocha Brava) to the nearest town, Carvoeiro.

Walking in the other direction to Carvalho beach and Benagil

This is at the far SW tip of Portugal, once thought to be the end of the world. The fishermen all seemed to have a death wish!

Looks really nice Sue, never been to Portugal myself the sea looks so inviting and the weather perfect.

I think she is tripping him up.  He is probably walking too fast and she's trying to slow him down.

Excellent photo's, I think I would have wanted to stay for the rest of the winter.

Thanks for sharing these photos and teasing us. I would love a bit of sun on my back. I take it you enjoyed it.

It was brilliant, would happily go back - out of season though. I hate crowds and it sounds as if it does get very busy in summer.
