Well I've really enjoyed reading them WD  :)

It's nice that you finished this one off with memories from your visit too.  A fitting end really.

Thanks for posting them all  O0

Thanks both of you for the very kind words.  :)

I have a plan... I'm going to do a treadmill trek from near the southern end of the Outer Hebrides (on Vatersay) to the Butt of Lewis.

We've spent three weeks walking in various parts of the Outer Hebrides and when I'm virtually in the area of one of our walks I'll post an update with real photos.

I'm quite excited.  :)

Crossing the bridge at Dougarie:

With hindsight, I suspect I chose this walk subconsciously because we've been watching Outlander every evening for the last week
I don't recognize your reference to Outlander, but I think this is a place that has featured in other films. When we were there some years ago I recognised it from a sequence for a wartime commando training. There is a Boathouse to the right out of picture.

Interesting and fun Virtual Walk. My adventure there was testing the Scottish right of responsible access, the owner was near the boathouse and it gave access to the outflow of the river to the Loch. It gave perfect foreground for a picture back inland. So I asked an elderly lady if I could walk down to the shore, this got an outraged sort of Rodean squawk from her middle aged daughter, English accent, but I did get a glint of amusement from the eye of the old girl as she acquiesced to my imposition.
