Hi guys, thought I'd share these images from our absolutely glorious long weekend just gone.
Obviously it was a LOT of driving but I like that (as you can probably tell from my name) and we saw some truly wonderful sights. They're only phone shots as always so the quality / definition is pants but the views are good!
First up was the utterly wonderful Brentor Church. We loved this spot so much we went back the day after and had a picnic and drank some cider. Cool windswept tree too!

Then it was off to the coast for the amazing Blackchurch Rock. We spent hours here completely alone. One of my favourite things I've ever seen. That's my wife standing in the right hand hole to give it some scale.

Next was Lydford Gorge which we both thought was absolutely wonderful, although a little busy but I guess that is to be expected.

We spent a very long time taking in the sights of Foggintor Quarry. Conditions were far from good but we covered the whole thing top and bottom. Loved every moment of this. The first shot looks like a mini Yosemite Valley view, which is obviously a good thing. I also enjoyed greatly that my wife insisted on calling it "The Fogginator"

And finally, my first visit to Durdle Door. An amazing bit of coastline.

Wonderful photos. You found a number of our favourite spots on your visit. Brent tor, is a little gem. Always makes me laugh that the vicar and his wife drive up in their old Land rover, whilst the congregation have to walk. :)

Glad you enjoyed your road trip to 'my' part of the country. I know I feel lucky to live so close to many gorgeous places. Pics are superb.

Thanks BuzyG. It was a wonderful trip. One of our favourites.
And thank you, you've answered a question we asked ourselves at Brentor Church. We couldn't imaging the vicar all dressed up making the trek up there!

Jac, we LOVED your part of the country. Our first time over there. Definitely won't be the last. And thanks for the kind words.
