Just looked back in my notebook - last did Inpin on 21st February 1963. (RAF mountain rescue winter course).  Left Glen Brittle at 1300 hrs (lazy sods :-[ ) and went up into Coire Lagan on to the ridge, along via Inpin ( ice/snow very thick :D ) and Sguir Dearg then down Coire Banachdict. Back down at 1900 hrs. (It went dark about 1630 hrs 8) ).  Great days but beyond me now in those conditions.

Great pics you have. I didn't get any when I was there so it's nice to see it in the light.  You had a super day.

Thanks for your comments mountainwalker.
The In Pin in winter. Now that is a proper adventure, Thanks for sharing.

We set foot on it for a laugh a month ago in the clag but that was all

Thanks PB. Not quite, still 3 to do. Am Basteir,  Sgurr Dubh Mòr and Sgurr nan Eag

Plus Sgurr an Fheadain, Bidein Druim nan Ramh, Sgurr na Bairnich, Sgurr na Stri etc etc and All the reds.

It will keep me going for years

I've done Bidein Druim nan Ramh and Sgurr na Bhairnich as part of the complete ridge traverse. I seem to recall that was probably one of the more technically difficult sections of the ridge with lots of abseiling and grade 3 scrambling. Great fun though! O0

I've only done one route in the Red Cuillin, the Beinn Deargs and Glamaig horseshoe, which was by and large a nice easy walk. The only hard part was the ascent and descent of Glamaig purely down to the steepness of the slope and some loose scree. An excellent vantage point though and well worth the effort. O0
Current Munro tally: 78 out of 282 completed so far.

All 190 Welsh Nuttalls completed.

A cat may look at a King sort of thing...I also love the earlier one of Stew looking across to the Inn Pinn(?), his outline seems to echo the shape of of part fo the head of it, a great composition  O0 O0 O0 O0 Keep em comin!

Hey Mike

First time I'd met Stewie that weekend and he does have a head for heights!!! Mike is it right he only started hiking 3 years ago?  If so then I think all the blame has to lay at your door  ;D . Just hope the weather is as good next time I'm up as I do fancy having a crack at the ridge you guys did on the Sunday.

Hi Paul,
Yea, Stewie's a natural climber, and his map reading /route finding are great as well. O0

That Clach Glas traverse is one heck of a route, done it twice now all but for 40m on the first attempt and still having difficulty putting a TR together

If the weather is half as good next time I'll be happy.
which for me is in a few weeks time when I might finish off my last 3 Munros on Skye on the way up to Ullapool.
