Many thanks Ewa. It's very frustrating not being able to get on the hills. Hope you have a good time in the Carpathians.

Dave, thank you for sharing.   I love Corney Fell!  It isn't that far from me and it is good to see your fantastic photos.

Many thanks. Just wish The knees would let me walk onto Black Combe. I'm sure the Welsh Mountains would have been visible.

Not exactly Cumbria but it saves raising a new thread!!!!

Last Tuesday after visiting my GP for yet another gold injection we took ourselves off for a run around the Western Dales. I have just uploaded the pictures from this trip to the website.

Hi, Dave.

Nice pics there.  I only have about three and a half weeks left to work until my two months summer break, so I'm already looking at the long range weather forecasts and planning my camping trip to Gibraltar Farm.  Your pictures from the area are making me realise how tantalisingly close it is!

Dave, what has happened to the forum link on your website?  Have you pulled it?

Hope the medication is working out for you.

Best wishes.

Dave

11th June 2009

Today was a day for catching up with a number of jobs that had been neglected
due to the RA and also to the walking.
Most of these jobs were in Lancaster but one involved a visit to Kirkby Lonsdale
which gave us this opportunity of one of our favourite short walks.
For those wishing to view the pictures are now available on the website located
in the "Visions of Cumbria" folder.
Regards,
Dave
