Cute lambs.
Fantastic pics, cant wait till this is over for another visit to the Cotswolds, just beautiful place. Thanks for sharing.
Nice photos, G&P Again, I know very little of this area.
Great photo's G&P. Looks a lovely part of the country.
Have a walking trip to the Cotswolds planned for late June. Highly unlikely it's going to happen though.
Love the lambs Beautiful countryside
I spent much of my childhood not far from Winchcombe and remember visiting Sudeley Castle
Beautiful sunny and picturesque walk.
The Cotswold Way was on our radar years ago, just maybe...
Thank you all !!
Soon after starting I met a Mr & Mrs Grumpy & my mood changed a tad.
My spirits lifted very soon after though, with the sunshine & the views. Then a jogger appeared over a hill with two dogs. I moved well off the track and waited for her to pass. Her dogs came up and greeted me. The woman stopped and we chatted about the weather and the usual topic
She then said "well I have to work now, that is my farm down there" (pointing to the buildings in the distance) "I have to get the tractor out and do some silaging" Anyway her positive demeanour & attitude gave me such a boost.
It still interests me how some people give off such a positive vibe and freely pass it on.....she did just that.
Then toward the end, walking down that avenue in the last but one photo, a lady beckoned me to sit for a while (ten feet apart of course), on a bank where she was just enjoying the sunshine. She told me her life history in five minutes. How she came from Australia and ended up in the Cotswolds.I enjoy solitary walking now that my lifelong friend cannot walk any more but when I meet some people, even just for a minute or two, they can make a good walk really great.....
