I'm toying with the idea of buying these boots (Garmont Gore-Tex XCR)....anyone say "yes" or "no" to this idea?
Just over £60 delivered.

No - sorry - leather for me all the way - either Scarpa SL or Brahser Hillmaster.
But if you are looking at fabric boots: Hekla GTX Walking Boots (Brasher) - £67.50 -
Certainly worth the investment. I was just on there looking at the boots myself actually and was tempted by fabric but decided to go with leather (again!)....
Let us know what you decide...

thanks for your comments.
I actually ended up plumping for a pair of Trespass' brown leather "traditional" style boots....first leather ones I've had, but this time I just couldn't get a fabric one I was really pleased with.
