Hello from Kent!
« on: 19:55:29, 12/06/17 »
Hey everyone, looking at getting more involved with longer walks including backpacking as its something i have always wanted to do (only car boot camp atm). Currently enjoy walking and i have done the majority of the routes on Snowdon (ticked Crib Goch off earlier this year) and also the 3 peaks challenge but want to venture further out and explore more of what other parts of the UK has to offer!

Currently in the process of organising my first backpacking trip across Dartmoor!

The forum seems packed full of knowledgeable users and posts and has already been a good help  O0

Cheers,
Tom

Welcome from SW London!

As you are planning a Dartmoor expedition did you see another recent post to the Welcome Board by DartmoorWildCamper ('Hello from Salisbury')?  Their blog https://wildcamping.blog linked from the message has lots of good stuff on the National Park.

best wishes
