anyone with a garmin etrex
« on: 19:07:35, 19/07/08 »
Maybe this thread would be more suited to the gear section O0

I have a garmin etrex, the early one (yellow) I've collected loads of waypoints on it and want to transfer it all onto my pc.

I've looked into getting a cable but it's nearly £30 from blacks.

Here's one I've seen on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-SINGLE-CABLE-FOR-GARMIN-eTrex-eMap-GEKO-GPS_W0QQitemZ330254081307QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item330254081307&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318
Would this do??

Also what programme would I need on my comp, if any???
