Ridgeway path.
Was meant to do it myself, but change of jobs etc, couldn't get the time off. Probs gonna do it in sections now. Im kind of glad though with the scorching weather and couple of injuries.
Anyway, there's a few long days in there to do it in 5, but that seems to be the standard

Ridgeway is a nice walk although don't be fooled by the name.  You spend a fair amount of time off the ridge  ;)

How about a walk around the Cairngorms; start/finish Aviemore. Beautiful glens and high mountain passes. Wild camping + bothys.

The Two Moors Way is about102 miles or 117 if you go coast to coast. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_Moors_Way
It was its own website with stage maps here http://www.twomoorsway.org/

Just to add 2 things.
1. The bad - You might not find the scenery as amazing as Wales where you have mountains and stuff.
2. The good - lots of hill forts, long barrows and at one end is Avebury stones, the largest megalithic stone circle in the world.

Various sections of the Southwest Coast Path. You don't specify where you need the public transport from/to. Assuming rail you can join/leave at Poole, Weymouth, Exmouth, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torbay, Plymouth, Par, Truro for Falmouth, and on down to Penzance. Fewer Rail links on the north coast, St Ives, Barnstaple but a nice link using the Somerset steam railway (with short bus link) to the main line at Taunton. There are pretty good buses all round the SWCP too.

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path also has a good bus service.  See bus timetable:-
