Ha! Ha! Ha! It's a funny old community you're a part of there, where the only reason you'd ask someone not to practice "head high round kicks" was because they happen to be wearing boots!  :o

Actually, you have an idea there, my lads have just started karate and are constantly practicing on each other, think I'll make sure that they wear their boots in the house just to stop 'em hammering each other, the weight'll stop them if nothing else  ;)

while walking the pw i was doing this with a karate chum - our plan was to perform a "kata" on the top of each hill we climbed.

I would make sure its not 2nd kata or other walkers will think you are from the Ministry of Silly Walks.  :-[

lol....didn't know you'd seen my 2nd kata tonyk! bassai dai was high up the list with seiunchin......couldn't have managed the empi jump with my back pack on.....

mr b:

what can i say? the guy practises turning off light switches with a front kick/elbow strike/anything he fancies...... and its usually the kitchen one while i'm washing up!

got to admit it though - did the same on wednesday nigt with the light switch in the dojo - front kicked it off.....just to see if i could....

make sure your kids dont read this - i wouldn't want to be blamed for giving them ideas.....

and another point to note - we regularly tell the kids to pracrtise on their dads....just so you know!

what karate school are they joined to?

You know, I've just realised I haven't the foggiest  :o

They are still young (7 & 5), and we still play fight.  I used to be great at it, throw them all over the place. I always had the upper hand .. now the tide is turning  :(

It is not a problem during walking

but I exprienced a embarassing happening..

there was a beggar on the street..

in front of him, there was a basket..

when I passed by him...

I just saw him without any thought..

suddenly he watched me and scolded..

"why do you see me..? if you will not help me go away...!!"

What a shock..;;;; my god....
