I'm pleased to read that you and Midge got off to a good start.  So that's one down and how many to go?  :)

4 hours ? Blimey Paul, what distance had you planned to cover ? How is Midge performing?

We did about 17 or18 miles.

That was the first of about 60 Days.

Tday the stoms are here. No more posts for a few days. Out in the wilds.

Midge is doing fine.

You and Midge are an inspiration to what's possible in spite of obstacles. It breaks my heart that Midge can no longer see the great countryside in which he roams, but at least with you at his side he can still get out and about. So all power to the both of you, and I look forward eagerly to reading about your exploits. Brett, Molly and Sam send their best wishes to Midge and hope he finds plenty of mud to roll in. 8)

Tough going the last few days. 30 to50 mph headwinds every day all day. Snow, hail one morning the tent was frozen to the ground. I only have light summer gear. Spent last night, my birthday, in a fantastic bothy. Over 100 Miles done. 1100 to go. All pics are on facebook. Sorry!

Hi guys,
lost my dog last year so I hope midge is doing well. when you get a moment could you give me an idea of what the flow country route is like. I plan to do jogle next year to finish on my 60th birthday and the Scottish section is the one giving me trouble to plan.
