Title: Dovedale and Wolfscote Dale
Post by: harry_keogh on 15:25:28, 15/11/16
As I've had nothing on for a week or so, I decided to write up one of my old walks from before I started my blog. This one is from 2013 so I had a hard job remembering a few parts of it:

No prizes for guessing who would be first to reply to this thread  ;) .

You've got a pretty good memory, Harry.  I think you probably did turn a little too early for the Narrowdale path that you intended - if only because there's no photo of this classic bridge just below Frank i'the Rock's cave which is probably where you meant to turn (I can't believe I don't have a better photo - other visits must have pre-dated my digital camera):

Yes, indeed!   :)

Harry, have you walked Beresford Dale upstream from the bridge in ww's photo?  Another lovely dale.

Not done Beresford Dale.... it's on a long list of possible next walks!

werringtonwalker - I don't remember that bridge, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything! I remember some farm buildings, I remember a big hill on my left, but not on the right - which is why I think I may have gone the wrong way around Narrowdale.
