I'm running a bit behind with this, but a couple of weeks ago we spent a few days walking from the lovely Austrian resort of Mayrhofen in the Ziller Valley, our last few days off till next year.
It was a nice week, booked at fairly short notice at a late getaway price, with a wide range of walking from easy to as-hard-as-you-like. On the whole we took it fairly easy, but there were great views to be had at all altitudes.
We had a fair mix of weather, sun, hot, rain and snow at times, but reasonably good most of the time, and we got to walk everyday totalling 58 miles in all with 3180m ascent and 5880m descent.
There are are a couple of pics attached to whet your appetite, otherwise there is a more complete report on my blog for those who want the full story:
here Thanks for looking!
Cheers
