Hi All

It's been a few weeks since we got back, and it's taken a little time to catch up, but here is the TR for our trip to Mayrhofen earlier in the year.

As we are not going to be doing as much walking over the spring this year  :(  we decided on a week away in the snow beforehand  :) .

Mayrhofen is a good place to walk in winter, with a number of prepared routes available. This comes in handy when the summer routes are often not navigable or safe due to tree fall, avalanche risk or the simple fact they are obscured by ski runs!  ;D

We had a great time - pretty relaxing, although walking in the snow is quite energetic! But we had plenty of downtime, too, and indulged ourselves on the food front just a little more than usual. Well, mountain walking every day in the cold, we were burning all those calories off ...

There are a few pics below, but for those who are interested, there is a full report

here

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.

Any comments are always welcome.

Cheers
