Paul, you said not 'photo genius' and then show that one, great photo.

I've posted this one before but mine would be my son's first crossing of Striding Edge.

Not a great photo, none of mine ever are, but a great memory.
---   O0 that's really great picture, and what a mist~

OK - Not really a walking photo - although we walked miles in those temples!

This photo was taken by my wife from the terrace of our hotel in Luxor on the 1st Jan 2010. She had taken a few of these when I spotted that the felucca was going to pass in front of the setting sun. I suggested to my wife that she wait for the sail to obscure the sun and then take a shot - this was the result.

Alright this is my second, but it should have been posted in a yet to do trip report when I went to Coire Lagan in the Cuillin last Year and It's definitely one of my favs of all time, mainly because it was me just [censored] about with the camera to see what would come out.

It was Easter Sunday and the weather changed to 55mph gales that night.  I like the fact that I didn't notice the icicle in the grass or the new green growth, until much later.

Not sure if it's my favourite as I've not yet looked back through all the one's I've taken during the year, however I took this on Thursday when walking the Great Ridge above Castleton and it shows the Blue Circle Cement factory in Hope Valley with the mist lurking around it. The mist came in and out all day to various densities, but what I like about the photo is the various layers in it.

WOW indeed!!

I see now we're in 2011, people are REALLY bringing out their 2010 shots  ;)

Mayaculpa that is amazing - such dramatic light. AND it just confirms my fantasies about the Aonach Eagach - looks dead scary! As PP would say - makes my bottom feel all funny!
The view of the Ben is just fantastic there.

That's a very eerie shot of the cement works, Botty - lovely detail there.

PP's Easter in the Cuillin and Madmax Jnr's Luxor - what a forum  of contrasts we do have!

Brillant guys.

Courage doesn’t always come in a loud roar.
Sometimes courage comes as a small voice at the end of the day saying,
“I’ll try again tomorrow.”

Sure Ken won't mind.  It's the view from his tent looking South at the Black Cuillin on Skye.  The campsite is at the Sligachan Hotel on the main road to Portree.  :)
