Deer-hunter Kit
« on: 11:47:23, 21/12/07 »
I bought the following gear a few weeks ago, and cannot recommend it highly enough :-

Deerhunter "Montana" jacket (5 in 1), with detachable fleece and goretex lining
Seeland trousers, same spec as above.

They are a brushed micropile fabric with goretex liner, and are so warm and dry, I've used them in all weathers and throughout the night in the woods nearby, and they have performed perfectly. Do a google on them. May not suit everyones tastes, but do me fine.
Courage doesn't always roar like a lion. Sometimes courage is a small voice at the end of a long hard day saying "I'll try again tomorrow".

I see what you mean.  My first impression was that they seem to offer a lot, but are not particularly nice looking.  Now, I'm not particularly fasion conscious (most of my walking is done in camo combat trousers), but these seem particularly queer looking.

How much did you pay for yours, prices seem to vary from £100 - £135  :-\
