I find satellite imagery very useful for spotting and checking out paths.

Planning to do a circular walk tomorrow, including Ullock Pike, Long Side, Skiddaw and Blakestall.

Luckily the high wind and hail we have today is forecast to have cleared.

Interesting walk, using a few paths that aren't on the map (always handy to know about such things).

I've been finding https://gpx.studio quite useful recently. You can add Strava heatmaps as an overlay which shows the routes that others have been using in areas where there's no paths.

Long Distance Walks / Re: Two Moors Way

Another agreement as above. I have walked the Two Moors Way twice, both in the North - South Direction. The first time was part of a small group - lovely weather through to Chagford then mist all the way across Dartmoor on the section you mention. For a large part of this section you follow an old tramway so despite the lack of visibility we did not have any problems.
If you have concerns about navigation there are numerous courses / books available if you check online.
Strangely when we first walked it around 20 years ago the harder section to navigate was the middle " countryside section " - many of the footpath signs were missing or overgrown - nothing major - but was much improved the second time a few years ago.
Good Luck.
