Title: LEJOG route
Post by: AFANASIEW on 13:40:56, 28/10/20
If you're planning a LEJOG and trying to decide on a route, here's mine.

Last year my LEJOG covered 1302 miles in 75 walking days, averaging 17.5 miles and 2,200 feet of ascent daily. It took me up the SWCP and then the ECP round to Weston-super-Mare, then via Clevedon to Offa's Dyke as far as Chirk, canal towpaths to the Dane Valley Way and the Limestone Way to reach the Pennine Way, Dere Street, St Cuthbert's Way, the Southern Upland Way and the Cross Borders Drove Road to Edinburgh, canal towpaths to the WHW, the GGW to Inverness and finally the John o'Groats Trail.

If you'd like the zipped gpx files, I'll gladly email it to you, along with some advice about specific sections.
