How far is it from Byrness to Kirk Yetholm?

Barrowburn farm do b&b and will run you back up to the roman camp, and Cocklawfoot farm do b&b and evening meals, about 2 miles off the trail down Clennel Street which is about the same distance as the Forest View pick up.  Forest View is wonderful, and has nice beer.  I think there is a b&b in KirkYetholm which will do a 2 day package with a drop off as well.

I know Cocklawfoot Farm did b&b, but thought Barrowburn Farm was just self catering?  Have they changed recently?

when I did my planning and walk report I used the walkhighlands mapping and had it clocked at 25 miles.

Sussamb you are right about Barrowburn farm, my mistake.  I thought I saw it on a b&b list, but either I got it wrong or the list did.  It is self catering, according to their own website.

To put the question in a different way, If anyone has done both, how does the Cheviot Ridge compare with the Yorkshire 3 Peaks?
