Evening all,

Just a quick trip report of my afternoon at Delamere Forest and Old Pale Hill.

Nothing fancy, just a couple of hours walk.

Hi tom83 . :)
Nice write up and very Interesting hike/walk ,Liked the photos And all the areas you did your walk
.As Its one of my favourite places Delamere forest .
I have walked the same route as you many time as Its part of the Famous Sandstone trail .
I have don't the S/T  and come back to Delamere on the Eddisbury Way . You are right the views are stunning at the top of Pale heights . The Whole area is a great place for Walking and hiking .
Most people only walk around the  tracks/trails in the popular Delamere forest .
But If you go further afield and Explore
All the main Longer walks besides the two I have mentioned above .
There Is also the Delamere Way.
And the Longster trail run roughly North to South .
Apart from the Baker way  which goes East to West .
So this lovely area in Cheshire has lots and lots of places to see and visit and is a Walker hikers paradise .

Nice trip report, Tom - enjoyed that.  O0  It's a good while since I've been to Delamere Forest but the Sandstone Trail is on radar this year so your blog has whetted my appetite for that.  :)
