Great reports and photos everyone! Though surprised you’re still alive after sampling those berries! Do Meet-ups need to come with a health warning?  ;D
We were considering a couple of days in the Peak district at the end of next week after visiting our son in Nottingham. After seeing the autumn colours that may now be a definite - everything’s still green in Suffolk!

Mel, for what it is worth here is a survival tip.  All berries, like all fungi, are edible.  Some are even edible more than once!

Could those big green things be plugs for the plug holes?

We had deer once when we were on hollows farm campsite, we felt quite privileged to be so close to them, they didn't even move away when we were walking g about they didn't mind us being there  :)

Great pics Mel O0

Great TR Mel.

The walk looked really nice... I wished I'd spotted it in the meets section!

Rob - if you decide to walk Loughrigg let me know I'll turn up as it's quite a nice amble that.  You can always pop along to Silver How too  :)

If you're doing this give me a shout - I'll join you if I can.  May have to bring a woofer with me though!

Awesome, well I've got to do it now haven't I? :)

Don't want to hijack this thread so I've made another one for replies on the meet up board linked to here (assume link will only work if you're on the meet up board, if you're not and you're interested send me a message).

Cranberry is a lot smaller than the hedge shrub we saw.

Cheers everyone for the comments  :)

Oh, and those green domes?  They are really the antennae of a buried alien spaceship.

...perhaps those Squit-berries were slightly hallucinogenic  :-\  ...
