Following on from my earlier report, after I descended Lamagan I made my way to Upper Cove. To the left, I enjoyed spectacular views to Bernagh and to the right, Chimney Rock and the eastern Mournes. I had a short lunch break on Upper Cove before I returned to the colony shared with Lamagan. I descended to the Annalong valley via Lower Cove. I picked up a good track back to Carrick Little, completing a circular loop. The total distance was 12km taking 4 hours. Before driving home, I enjoyed a strawberry milkshake in Carrick cottage cafe. A nice treat after a trek
